The most common drug offences and their penalties are found in the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 (Vic) (the DPCSA). These include the following offences.

The use of a drug of dependence is an offence. 'Use' includes smoking, inhaling fumes or introducing a drug of dependence into your body.
